Class GPA and DAT are 2025-26 entering class averages. Acceptance rate is offers ÷ applications, 2023–2025. Puerto Rico's three schools are listed when your home state is Puerto Rico.
Simulate your application cycle
A 54% chance doesn't mean you get 54% of an acceptance: you either get in or you don't. Pick the schools you'd apply to: one, a few, or all of them. Search to add a school, use a quick list, or check schools in the table above. Then roll. Run it a few times to see how much luck is involved, or run 1,000 cycles to see the odds play out.
Each simulated cycle links your schools a little, because a strong interview or essay helps everywhere. Your list's chance of at least one acceptance can differ from the overall chance above.
Where the numbers come from
The calculator is built on 60,285 real applicants from 2021–2025, using national applicant reports and ADA data on every dental school. It weighs your GPA, DAT and home state against what actually happened to applicants like you, and against each school's entering class. Its results are matched to the published enrollment rates.
Regional agreements and long-running state patterns are marked in your school list. Calculator Plus adds race/ethnicity, adjusted for scores. Gender is shown for information only.
Read it as a guide
These are rates for past applicants with numbers like yours, not a prediction for you. Interviews, experience, letters, essays and timing all matter and aren't in the data. Schools with a specific mission, such as historically Black Howard and Meharry, weigh much more than numbers. Chances at individual schools don't add up to your overall chance. Need to convert your scores? Use the DAT score converter.
